Being present and capturing the birth of Charlie was really special. This was my last birth story for the year, before giving birth to my own son and it was also an opportunity for me to watch my doula Jen (from www.breith.org.au) in action again. Charlie was born to two very loving parents and an older sister and two older brothers. They really do make one gorgeous family! I hope you enjoy the slideshow.

This is the story in pictures of the birth of baby Amaya, born to a very strong and brave mother and an incredibly supportive father. With hopes for a much anticipated home waterbirth, mum put in an amazing effort before being transferred to deliver her posterior (with arm up) almost 10lb baby girl. And what a beautiful family they make.

I had the privilege of being present for the birth of beautiful twins Oscar and Ava last Saturday night. Both babies were born breech and mum put in an absolutely amazing effort to deliver them both naturally. She was truly inspirational. Below is the slideshow I have created for them. Even after actually witnessing the births of these two beautiful babies, this slideshow has me in tears every time I watch it.

Here it is, my first blog for Mockingbird Photography. My first blog ever! For now I just write to say a big thank you to all my supporters. I have been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement I have received since deciding to take my love of photography to the next level. This is my first picture of me with my beautiful girl Maddie. My world she is.
