Shooting With Soul | 52 Project | #2 – Cold

Week 2 of my shooting with soul Project 52 and the theme is cold.  We have a sneaky Sunday morning habit in our home, Hungry Jacks coffee for mummy and milkshakes for the kids.  Every time two-year-old Max has his first sip of his milkshake his first word is ‘cold’.  I couldn’t resist taking a picture of my middle baby with his cherished milkshake.  It’s the little things.

Shooting With Soul | 52 Project | #1 – Resolution

This year I am undertaking a 52 week project with a bunch of wonderful photographers in a group we call Shooting With Soul.  This is my SWS52 project, week 1, theme – RESOLUTION.  I’m not a big one for resolutions.  In all honesty if I make them, I break them, so I don’t dare jinx myself anymore.  Though there is one thing I have promised myself this year, to not work so hard.  I pushed myself to the limits in 2014 and it was tough, I spent too much time away from my beautiful family and they suffered, and so did I.  This year they are my focus.  My husband and these three perfect children.  They get my attention first and foremost this year.  It’s all about them.  This makes me happy. And of course I will work, I love my photography, it would be impossible not to work.  But I will work smarter, not harder.  I’m excited.

Shooting With Soul

I am part of a group called Shooting With Soul who have formed a blog circle which we take part in each month by blogging and linking through to the next photographer.  This is our first month and I begin with what is my soul – my children.  I’m doing my best again this year to capture a photo a week… it started out as a photo a day, then became a photo a week and sadly I have to admit that there are often weeks gone by before I realise I need to take another picture.  Here are Madeleine, Maximus and William.  My little loves.  And I would be thrilled if you could scroll to the bottom and click the link to show the next photographer some love. 🙂

Bec Essery - Oh gosh they are adorable! Love the second black and white image.

Victoria | Bump

I stepped a little outside of my box for Victoria’s session and tried a few indoor poses, not my usual style, but we got some gorgeous pictures of one very beautiful bump!
